Is Calvin Harris Calling Taylor Swift ‘Two-Faced’ in His New Song?
Calvin Harris may have pulled a Taylor Swift with his new song “My Way.” That is to say, everyone thinks the song is about his ex Taylor.
The song repeats over and over again, “You were the one thing in my way.” Other choice lyrics include, “Lie awake, two faced / But in my heart I understand / I made my move and it was all about you / Now I feel so far removed.”
In an interview with iHeartRadio, he said that the song could be about a relationship, but he was also pretty vague.
[The] song’s kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then, you’re way more comfortable out of it. And it could be anything. It could be a job, or it could be a relationship. I had kind of the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn’t know how to work out how it sounded.
Twitter certainly thinks it’s about Taylor:

If it is about her, we can’t blame him. He literally would be taking a page out of a book we assume exists and is called “The Taylor Swift Manual of Songwriting.”
