‘This Time I Mean It’: SNL Parodies YouTube Apology Videos With an Insane Prank Show

YouTube apology videos have become their own genre over the past few years, and after some more recent ones, Saturday Night Live parodied those apology videos with a mock prank show hosted by “MarkyMunro.”

Kyle Mooney and host Daniel Kaluuya starred in the sketch about a YouTube channel dedicated to increasingly-insane pranks.

It starts with “mouse bones” and just takes off from there.

All the wild and wacky pranks, however, are interspersed with apology videos. The apology after the first prank is followed up by an apology for the second, more dangerous prank, saying, “I know a lot of you thought my last apology was insincere. You were right. I was lying. But this time I mean it.”

Followed by, of course, the third apology.
