Alain Ducasse Invites 200 Best Chef Friends To French Riviera To Dull The Pain Of NYC Flagship Closing

Okay, we might be jumping to conclusions, there, but Alain Ducasse really is shuttering his Stateside flagship restaurant Adour in the St. Regis Hotel in New York City, and he really is throwing a party for 200 of the world’s most Michelin-starred chefs on the French Riviera. The chef summit will be held in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Le Louis XV, his 3-Michelin starred Monaco restaurant.

René Redzepi, Joël Robuchon, David Chang, and Michel Guerard are among the chefs attending from across 25 countries and 5 continents. Stars on Stars on Stars, guys. 300 Michelin ones, to be exact, amongst all the attendees. It’s like a galaxy of culinary elite.

The summit takes place on November 17th, and will feature galas, tastings, demos, and probably drunken merriment. Any master chefs out there need a plus one? We Braiser ladies clean up real nice, speak several languages between us, and will find you extremely charming all day.

Ten of the 200 chefs will be chosen by Ducasse, himself, to put on a demonstration featuring a Mediterranean secret ingredient. Sigh. Everybody’s gotta play Iron Chef.
