WATCH: Bobby Flay Reveals His Schnitzel Chicken Milanese Date Night Recipe On Today
You know what’s not sexy (notice we didn’t say “not delicious”)? German food. Also, German words. So, while Bobby Flay‘s go-to date night recipe is basically schnitzel and a side salad, he sexes it up by opting for the Italian dish name, chicken Milanese. Mmm, Milan…it’s so chickeny and romantic.
B-Flizzle showed off his 15-minutes-and-you’re-done recipe on The Today Show this morning (worry not, the demo is under the standard four minutes). Matt Lauer also jumped to his rescue to remind the chef that he forgot to instruct viewers to pound out the chicken before they start. Verrry smooth, Matt! Props.
Check out the sssuper sssexxxalicious demo below. (Read: The recipe is low-cal and boring, so the only way to dress it up is to sell it as a date night dish. This dish will only be exciting because the girl you cook it for won’t feel like she’s in a food coma after she eats it, so she’ll be more than up for some tummy-jiggle-free post-dinner activities.)
