Tragedy struck early this morning when a gunman opened fire on the audience of a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado, killing 12 and wounding 50 more. The suspect, James Holmes, was apprehended and is in custody while authorities try to investigate further. In the aftermath of the shocking incident, chefs and critics reacted to the news and offered their condolences to those affected via Twitter.
