David Chang And Fergus Henderson To Cook All The Pigs In London

What do David Chang and Fergus Henderson have in common, besides a love of eating animals and a fondness for sharp objects? The answer is that they’ll both be at Henderson’s famed St. John Restaurant in London for a weekend in June.

The normally stoic Henderson is aflutter at the prospect of working with Chang, tweeting before his announcement of the event that he was so excited he “had to have a Fernet Branca to calm down.” Chang will be staying at the St. John Hotel and cooking with the nose-to-tail crew for lunch and dinner on the 22nd and 23rd. The menu won’t be released until the day of the event, but Henderson promises that it will be a “cracker.” (Which we suppose is British slang for “some unholy union between Chang’s Asianish food and Henderson’s Homage To British cuisines.”)

Tickets for the event cost £100 and is first come, first serve for reservations, since, as Henderson understates quite Britishly, it “may be a rather popular event.”

On a related note, here’s a public service announcement to all the tasty animals of England: There are dangerous men coming to your country. If you see these two men in your neighborhood, do not confront them. Run. Don’t try to be a hero. These men want to eat your faces.
