Gordon Ramsay Launches Ironman Training Club (Oh, and Some Charity Organization)
Which will get more attention — the charitable Gordon Ramsay Foundation, or the Ironman training club GR100? (We mean, have you seen how many shirtless, six-pack ab photos he posts of himself?)
With some new changes on the horizon (no more Kitchen Nightmares, more restaurants opening and closing), Ramsay and his wife, Tana, announced a new charitable organization that has pledged to raise £2 million in two years. The funds will go to organizations like Cancer Research UK, Action Against Hunger, and Meningitis Now.
But also, because our dude loves to work out, Ramsay also launched the GR100, his “exclusive” Ironman team. Granted, that does not include working out with Ramsay, but with experts in the field and “meeting with triathlon legends.” The team will compete in the 2015 half Ironman race in Staffordshire, England.
