Kelis Ran a Food Truck at SXSW; No Milkshakes Were Served

Did you know that Kelis, most famous for having a milkshake that brings all the boys to the yard, is actually a trained saucier who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, and that she had a Cooking Channel special air a couple of weeks ago, which we can’t even snark on, because homegirl is trained?

She also brought her skill to the game SXSW-style in a #KelisFoodies food truck, parked up at the festival, which served jerk ribs (and no milkshakes). We have pretty high hopes for jerk sauce crafted by a saucier, though. Check out photos below.
