WATCH: Mario Batali Bad Breath Bombs The GMA Hosts

Besides misusing the word “parody” on GMA this morning, Mario Batali also delivered a tasty-looking treat to the hosts and accidentally gave them all “lethal breath.” Apparently, they unknowingly took a bite of an ooey gooey focaccina, without realizing that Mario had stuffed the dish with unthinkable amounts of garlic. The fancy grilled cheese dish featured provolone and scallions served between two pieces of grilled pizza dough, resulting in a delectable-looking melty mess. Unfortunately, the hosts dug in before Mario had the chance to tell them he also spread whole roasted garlic heads on the sammies. Oops. Good luck smelling like a normal person again before Monday. At least they tasted good?

UPDATE: Whoopsy daisy. Turns out Mario Batali didn’t misuse the word “parody” in the clip; he was merely breaking out his SAT vocab, and correctly using the word “parity.” Consider us schooled, folks. May we suggest Mario starts offering Word of the Day tweets like Fabio Viviani does to teach us Italian? He can think on that while we go get our ears cleaned.
