Scott Conant Denies Trainwreck Socialite Rachel Uchitel Signed On As LDV Hospitality Consultant

Yesterday, Page Six ran a post alleging that our favorite Tiger Woods mistress turned Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew alum (you might remember that she wasn’t in rehab for substance abuse; rather she was ADDICTED TO LOVE) Rachel Uchitel was “returning” to the New York hospitality scene as a consultant for LDV Hospitality, which owns Scott Conant’s Scarpetta.
We use the term “returning” loosely, because her former experience includes being a “VIP hostess” at celeb hotspots, AKA, what Marnie did that time she dressed like a slutty Von Trapp child for half a season, AKA, Uchitel was essentially a professional socialite, and only tangentially “in the hospitality industry.”
According to the New York Post and its sources: “We hear Uchitel signed on with the owners to improve client relations and build sales across its restaurants and bars.”
According to Scott Conant, who promptly fired off a statement to us in response to the article: “Rachel Uchitel has no affiliation with Scott Conant, the Scarpetta restaurant in NYC, or Scott Conant Management, LLC, which manages Scarpetta.”
Myth: busted.
