Is Tom Colicchio Opening a Craft Stand In NYC?

 

Is NYC about to endure Shake Shack length lines for pork belly tacos from Top Chef‘s shiny-domed head judge? Tom Colicchio and Craftsteak LLC applied for a liquor license in the city of New York, seeking to serve beer and wine at a “freestanding” concession in front of 860 Washington Street. The West Village locale is home to the Gansevoort Market Building, which is apparently on its way to demolition town, in favor of a shiny, new, enormous glass office tower.

When reached for comment, Colic’s peeps refused to dish any deets. Typical. Would you camp out for some Craft street food if it came to the West Village? We wish we could endorse those pork belly tacos, but they were sold out at Great GoogaMooga by the time we got there…
