WATCH: April Bloomfield And Jenn Louis See How The Salami Is Made

April Bloomfield has wrapped up her nationwide book tour promoting her memoir A Girl And Her Pig, meaning that she is no longer coming to a city near you, to cook with a chef in a city near you. But there is video of those fond memories, as well as things that one could not have possibly seen on the tour.

For instance: Bloomfield, in this video, goes traipsing around the farms and breweries of Portland with chef Jenn Louis, where they visit Louis’s friends and purveyors, drink some “mangy” beer, and throw artisanal salamis at each other. (And just to amend ourselves, the two are obviously going to have fun in Portlandia, because that hipster paradise is pretty much one giant farm/brewery.)
