‘BAD AND SICK PEOPLE’: Trump Goes OFF on CNN and The New York Times for ‘Cheating Again!’

President Donald Trump denounced the “BAD AND SICK PEOPLE” at CNN and The New York Times on Truth Social Wednesday afternoon, accusing them of “cheating” and “trying to always make our Country look bad.”

Both the cable news network and world famous newspaper reported on Tuesday that a preliminary, low-confidence intelligence report on the strikes he ordered on Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend had not been as successful as Trump initially claimed, and perhaps only set the rogue regime’s program back by a few months.

Trump has vigorously disputed the claims of that report and protested the reporting surrounding it, even going so far as to submit that the characterization of the attack demeans the U.S. service members who carried it out.

“They [the service members] put their lives on the line, and then they have — and I’m not referring to you, but real scum, real scum, come out and write reports that are as negative as they could possibly be,” Trump told NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell during a press conference on Wednesday. “It should be the opposite. You should make them heroes and heroines.”

He followed that up with a blistering Truth Social post assailing CNN and the Times.

“We just caught the Failing New York Times, working with Fake News CNN, cheating again!”  wrote Trump. “They tried to demean the great work our B-2 pilots did, and they were wrong in doing so. These reporters are just BAD AND SICK PEOPLE.”

“You would think they would be proud of the great success we had, instead of trying to always make our Country look bad,” he added. “TOTAL OBLITERATION!”

An Israeli intelligence assessment released on Wednesday backed up Trump’s evaluation of his operation’s success, declaring that the attack had destroyed the Fordow enrichment facility’s “critical infrastructure” and set Iran’s nuclear program back by “many years.”
