Candace Owens Under Fire From Right and Left For Comparing Netanyahu to Hitler
Controversial podcaster and MAGA influencer, Candace Owens, raised eyebrows on Sunday night by suggesting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is worse than Adolf Hitler – or at least what she learned about Hitler in high school. Owens also addressed the fierce backlash with a defiant second post, making clear she stands by the shock comparison.
Owens made the comment in reply to homeschooling guru Brett Pike, who posted on X, “Benjamin Netanyahu is everything the media wanted you to believe Vladimir Putin is.” She wrote back to Pike, “Feels a bit more like everything high school wanted me to believe Adolf Hitler was.”
Owens’s comments regarding World War II history, Israel, and the Holocaust have stirred controversy for many months now, leading to many critics accusing her of anti-Semitism – something she discusses regularly on her show. In July of last year, Owens went so far as to release an episode titled “Literally Hitler. Why Can’t We Talk About Him?”
In that episode, for which Owens was widely condemned, she claimed that accounts of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele’s horrific experiments sounded to her like “bizarre propaganda.”
“The idea that they just cut a human up and then sewed them back together. Why would you do that? Even if you’re the most evil person in the world, that’s a tremendous waste of time and supplies,” Owens said, casting doubt on a well-documented atrocity that took place during the Holocaust.
Owens, whose show lands in the top ten on the Spotify podcast charts in the U.S., has a long history of controversial and outlandish rhetoric including saying Hitler’s “nationalism” inside Germany was “fine” and that parents who take their kids to drag queen story hour should have them “taken away.”
Owen’s jab at Netanyahu was met with anger from both the right and left. New right Rebel News reporter Avi Yemeni replied, “Remember when Klandace Owens threw a tantrum because people dared suggest she liked Hitler? Yeah… about that.”
“I don’t want to call this a full mask-off moment for Candace, because the mask has been off for a while. But let’s just say this is taking things to a whole other level,” added independent journalist Yashar Ali.
Owens later hit back at the criticism and promoted anti-Israel conspiracy theories, claiming the country was behind the Jeffrey Epstein sex-trafficking ring and recent assassination attempts. She wrote:

With enough time, I’m sure Hitler would have been very open to similarly running a sophisticated global blackmail ring with Jeffrey Epstein and perhaps would have even orchestrated the assasination of a sitting U.S. President or conducted a false flag or 2 to demand our allegiance.
