After accusing (then walking back) his claim that President Donald Trump is in the DOJ’s files on Jeffrey Epstein, Elon Musk is back to making explosive claims about the president’s handling of the investigation on the convicted sex trafficker’s case.
In a stunning series of posts on X Wednesday and Thursday, the former DOGE boss turned up the heat on Trump big-time — accusing his administration of trying to keep the Epstein matter under wraps.
“It’s a cover up (obviously),” Musk wrote in one post on Wednesday.

Musk also took on Trump’s bizarre claim that the Epstein story is a Democrat-perpetrated “hoax.”
“Wow, amazing that Epstein ‘killed himself’ and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax,” Musk wrote sarcastically.

The Tesla chief, on Thursday, proceeded to question the FBI’s handling of the evidence against Epstein.
“Where is it,” Musk wrote — in reply to a post which posited the question: “WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE EVIDENCE AGAINST EPSTEIN?”

With the “Big, Beautiful” budget bill that Musk strongly opposed having now been signed into law — the ex-DOGE czar may be in search of revenge. Still, it remains to be seen what impact Musk’s attacks will have on Trump’s base — given a new CNN poll which showed Musk’s favorability rating at a disastrous 25 percent.
