George Santos SCREAMS at Man In Halls Of Congress: ‘You Are Human Scum!’

Rep. George Santos (R-NY), who is under federal criminal indictment, got into a screaming match with a man in the halls of Congress on Friday in an incident that is totally on brand for the Republican-controlled chamber at this time.
The bizarre scene unfolded after Santos was photographed holding a baby in the Longworth Building. When asked if the child was his, Santos replied, “Not yet.”
Shortly after, NBC News’ Sahil Kapur took video of Santos speaking with Capitol police and getting into it with a man who was asking the congressman about the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
“Officers, this is the gentleman that was accosting me when I had a two-month old baby in my hands,” Santos said before turning to the man in question. “You came in my personal space–”
The man interrupted and asked, “What are you doing what are you doing to call for the end of the Israeli–?”
Santos interrupted in kind.
“What are you doing about terrorists trying to destroy Israel?” he inquired.
The two continued arguing, with Santos screaming, “It is abhorrent!” He also told the man, “You are human scum!”
Later, Santos was seen in another video taken by Nolan McCaskill of The Messenger in which the lawmaker yelled some more about the incident.
“And the next time he tries to accost me with a child in my hand, I want him outta here!” he exclaimed while surrounded by reporters.
“What happened, exactly?” someone off camera asked.
“He’s an animal!” Santos continued. “He is a fucking terrorist sympathizer!”
“Who?” a man asked. “Mr. Santos, who?”
“The gentleman back there is a terrorist sympathizer that has no business in this building!” he screamed. “What is happening in Israel is abhorrent!”
The congressman continued yelling.
Santos is under federal indictment on 23 criminal counts, including “conspiracy, wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, and credit card fraud.” He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His personal life came under intense scrutiny shortly after he was elected to the House last year. Among the many whoppers he told was the claim that he is Jewish and had relatives who died in the Holocaust, neither of which are true.
