‘He Did Something That Was Inappropriate’: Trump Reveals Real Reason He Fell Out With Epstein

The reasons behind the falling out between President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein have long been speculated about. But on Monday, the president explained why he booted the disgraced financier from Mar-a-Lago.

Speaking to media alongside U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Turnberry, Scotland, the president fielded a question about why he kicked Epstein out of his Palm Beach club.

“That’s such old history,” Trump said. “Very easy to explain, but I don’t want to waste your time by explaining it. But for years, I wouldn’t talk to Jeffrey Epstein … because he did something that was inappropriate. He hired help. And I said ‘Don’t ever do that again.’ He stole people that worked for me. I said, ‘Don’t never do that again.’ He did it again. And I threw him out of the place, persona non grata. I threw him out, and that was it.”

From there, Trump pivoted to again bring up former President Bill Clinton and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers in connection with Epstein — accusing Clinton of visiting Epstein’s island “28 times.”

“I never had the privilege of going to his island,” Trump said. “And I did turn it down. But a lot of people in Palm Beach were invited to his island. In one of my very good moments, I turned it down. I didn’t want to go to his island.”

Up until now, the White House had said little about why the Trump-Epstein friendship fell apart.

“The fact is that The President kicked him out of his club for being a creep,” White House Communications Director Steven Cheung said last week.
