Authorities have released an image of a “person of interest” in the assassination of conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk as they remain engaged in an intense manhunt to find the killer.

“We are asking for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” the FBI Salt Lake City office wrote in a social media post on Thursday.

The photo was the latest in a series of new information released by the feds as they try to track down Kirk’s killer, who is believed to be “of college-age.”

Earlier Thursday, FBI Salt Lake City Special Agent in Charge Robert Bohls revealed that the agency recovered a high-powered, bolt-action rifle in a wooded area where the assassin is believed to have fled.

Three unused ammo cartridges inside the weapon were scrawled with transgender and anti-fascist messages, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

Kirk, the Turning Point USA founder, was shot and killed on Wednesday at Utah Valley University during a campus event.

Gruesome footage taken by attendees showed a single bullet hitting Kirk in the neck before he slumped over in his chair.
