Local Fox Reporter Challenges Trump On False Biden Attack: ‘I Don’t Think There’s Evidence Of That’

Fox 6 Milwaukee reporter Jason Calvi challenged ex-President Donald Trump when he attacked President Joe Biden as the architect of the criminal trial currently playing out in New York.

Trump has frequently complained that the Stormy Daniels hush money-election interference trial is Biden’s doing (which has been repeatedly debunked) and it’s keeping him from campaigning — although Trump did two rallies on Wednesday.

In fact, Trump also did a round of local interviews while he was not being kept off the campaign trail.

One of those was with Calvi, who pushed back on Trump’s claims before wrapping up in the face of the former president’s insistence that there actually is evidence — which he did not provide because there is no evidence:

JASON CALVI: But you’re in trial pretty much every day, so don’t — wouldn’t it make sense to have that person out there right now for you?

DONALD TRUMP: Well, I’m in a fake trial, and I’m in a trial that’s a Democrat — you know, you take a look at — where did it come from? It came from Biden. It’s a Biden trial to try and keep me off the trail —

JASON CALVI: I don’t think there’s evidence of that, that he was involved with this.

DONALD TRUMP: There’s evidence. You just take a look. I mean, who’s heading up the trial? Take a look at the person that’s setting it up.

No, there’s a lot of evidence is, eh, and there’s also common sense involved, but there’s a lot of evidence and it’s disgraceful.

Never happened in the history of our country before what they’re doing. So I call it the Biden trial. And it’s a fake deal and the voters get it. And that’s why I’m up by so much.
