MAGA Seethes as Pam Bondi Again Stonewalls on the Epstein Files: ‘Will Anyone Ever Be Held Accountable?’
Numerous MAGA influencers on social media seethed, Wednesday morning, as Attorney General Pam Bondi again stonewalled when asked about the release of the DOJ’s files on Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking to reporters outside the White House Wednesday, Bondi was asked about the suggestion from Rep. James Comer (R-KY) that the Epstein files have already been destroyed.
“The Attorney General ordered them released. We all know they have not been released,” Comer told far-right podcast host Benny Johnson Tuesday. “One of my biggest fears, which I expressed with Kash Patel and a lot of people, including Stephen Miller, going into the new administration, was this: I hope they’re not shredding documents right now.”
Bondi, asked about the comment from Comer, said the following:
The FBI, they’re reviewing, there are tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child porn, and there are hundreds of victims. And no one victim will ever get released. It’s just the volume. And that’s what they’re going through right now. The FBI is diligently going through that. I haven’t seen that statement, but I’ll call him later and find out.
Still, Bondi did not mention any kind of timetable for the release of the files — which did not escape the notice of some prominent MAGA accounts on social media. The attorney general claimed, in a Feb. 21 interview on Fox News, that the Epstein client list was “sitting on my desk right now to review.” Days later, several handpicked MAGA influencers were given a binder of documents — but those documents contained very little new information.
Judging by the reaction to Bondi’s latest comments, MAGA’s patience is wearing thin. Here’s a sampling from prominent Right-wing accounts:
