‘Now Could Be the Time’: Jeffrey Epstein Was Told He Could ‘Finish’ Trump With Dirt on Eve of 2016 Election

A new email released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday revealed that the late sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein was advised that he could “finish” President Donald Trump on the eve of the 2016 presidential election.

In a message addressed to Epstein on October 29, 2016 reported on by The Miami Herald‘s Julie Brown, author Michael Wolff wrote:

There’s an opportunity to come forward this week and talk about Trump in such a way that could garner you great sympathy and help finish him. Interested?

The election, which Trump prevailed in, was held a little over a week later, on Tuesday, November 8.

The release of this particular message — which was among the 20,000 pages of documents dropped by Republicans on the Oversight Committee Wednesday — came after Democrats released a few notable emails about Trump that were sent by and to Epstein earlier in the day.

Among them was this 2015 exchange between Epstein and Wolff:

“I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt. Of course, it is possible that, when asked, he’ll say Jeffrey is a great guy and has gotten a raw deal and is a victim of political correctness, which is to be outlawed in a Trump regime.”

“[VICTIM] mara lago. [REDACTED] . trump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever. . Of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop,” wrote Epstein in another 2019 email to Wolff.
