Trump Rants Into The Dead of Night About Criminal Immunity Appeal — Claims Biden in Danger If He Loses

A new poll from the Wall Street Journal has found that former president and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump boasts leads over President Joe Biden in 6 of 7 key swing states both in head-to-head matchups, and when respondents are given the option of voting for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is mounting an independent bid for the White House.

According to the Journal survey, Trump leads one-on-one  in Arizona (47%-42%), Georgia (44%-43%), Michigan (48%-45%), North Carolina (49%-43%), Nevada (48%-44%), and Pennsylvania (47%-44%). He and Biden draw even, at 46%, in Wisconsin.

When RFK Jr. and other third-party candidates are included on the ballot, Trump still leads in Arizona (39%-34%), Georgia (38%-35%),  Michigan (39%-37%), North Carolina (42%-34%), Nevada (37%-33%), and Pennsylvania (41%-38%). He does, however, fall behind Biden in Wisconsin by a margin of 3 points (41%-38%).

The same poll also found that Trump is trusted more to handle most of the important issues as assessed by voters. The former president has advantages on the economy (54%-34%), inflation (53%-33%), border security (52%-32%), mental fitness for the job (48%-28%), as well as the wars in Ukraine (46%-37%) and Israel (45%-31%). Biden, on the other hand, is favored on abortion (45%-33%) and protecting democracy (43%-42%).

Biden’s approval rating across the seven states (38%) also compares unfavorably with Trump’s (51%).
