Outkick’s Tomi Lahren Scolds Conservatives for Booing Taylor Swift: ‘What Did She Do to Any of Y’all?’

Outkick’s Tomi Lahren scolded conservatives for booing Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl, praising the international superstar for being a “wholesome and talented performer” on Monday.
Swift, who attended Sunday’s championship bout to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, was booed as she was shown on the jumbotron.
Many on the right, including President Donald Trump — who had previously said he hated Swift — expressed their approval of the crowd’s disapproval.
“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium,” wrote Trump on Truth Social before observing that “MAGA is very unforgiving!”
Swift endorsed Trump’s general election opponent, former Vice President Kamala Harris, in September, writing on social media that “The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth. I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election.”
“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” she continued. “I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”
But on Monday, Lahren urged Trump’s supporters to disregard Swift’s political views — and lay off her.
“I know I see this differently than a lot of my conservative friends, but I didn’t like nor do I celebrate the booing of Taylor Swift,” began Lahren. “What did she do to any of y’all? I get that she endorsed Kamala but that’s her right. Are we supposed to hate someone because they have different political opinions? Overall, she is a wholesome and talented performer, who, by all accounts, is kind to her crew and a nice person. I don’t celebrate that kind of thing being booed just because she voted for someone that I didn’t.”
Lahren’s argument caught the attention of her colleague, Outkick founder Clay Travis, who challenged the idea that Swift had been booed over politics in the first place.
“She [Swift] got booed because her boyfriend plays for the Chiefs and most of the crowd were Eagles fans. Also NFL fans are tired of two years of obsessive relationship coverage. Don’t think that much was political in nature,” he commented.
“Read the comments,” replied Lahren curtly.
