‘She’s About to Get Some Big Scalps’: Mark Halperin Reports Laura Loomer Has Trump’s Cabinet in Her Crosshairs

Laura Loomer’s purge of allegedly disloyal actors in the Trump administration isn’t over just yet, according to Mark Halperin.

On Monday’s edition of his 2WAY show, Halperin predicted that Loomer is “about to get some big scalps.”

“Laura Loomer on her show on Friday said maybe she’s better off not being in the government because she doesn’t have to play by the governmental rules. She continues to work her way through the federal government trying to get people fired. She still wants two or three cabinet secretary fired,” began Halperin before playing a clip of President Donald Trump calling her “a very nice person” who he’s known “for a long time.”

I think she’s a patriot, and she gets excited because of the fact that she’s the patriot, and she doesn’t like things going on that she thinks are bad for the country. I like her,” added Trump.

After Sean Spicer submitted that that Loomer’s influence was “rising,” Halperin agreed heartily.

“The correct answer is rising! She’s about to get some big scalps, I think, ladies and gentleman,” he predicted.

Loomer, a conspiracy theorist who has called herself a white nationalist and celebrated the drowning deaths of migrants in the Mediterranean Sea, already has her fair share of scalps to show off.

On Loomer’s advice, Trump has purged his national security team, pulled his surgeon general nominee, and, more recently, initiated the ouster of two other major officials.

“So many scalps this week! Stacking them up!” tweeted Loomer last week.
