SHOCK POLL: Whopping Majorities Say Trump Admin ‘Covering Up Evidence’ On Epstein — Including Trump Fans
A stunning new poll shows huge majorities of Americans say the Trump administration is “covering up evidence” on deceased rape criminal Jeffrey Epstein — including a decisive majority of President Donald Trump’s voters.
After years of Trumpworld encouraging many a conspiracy theory about Epstein’s case, the Trump Justice Department dropped a bombless bomb a week Monday when they claimed there actually was no client list, and no “Epstein Files” worth releasing. The announcement prompted fierce backlash from supporters.
That backlash has snowballed to include demands for Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi’s firing amid a behind-the-scenes feud with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, who reportedly threatened to resign in protest.
At every stage, Trump has fanned the flames even as he attempts to tamp the story down, most recently with a series of public statements disavowing those supporters who continue to ask for more information.
According to a new YouGov/The Economist poll, Trump may have a lot more to lose than he realizes. Respondents to the survey were asked “Should the government release all the documents that it has about the Jeffrey Epstein case?”
An almost unheard-of 79 percent responded “yes” versus just 5 percent “no” — that’s “Do you like puppies?” territory — including a stunning 83 percent of Trump voters.
Next, respondents were asked “Do you think the government is covering up evidence it has about Epstein?”
Again, people who are now members of the Trump administration spent years fueling these conspiracies, and now 67 percent of all Americans say “yes” there’s a coverup, with another full quarter “not sure” — meaning 92 percent of Americans are at least open to the idea that the government that Trump runs is covering up evidence on Epstein.
Among Trump voters, 59 percent responded “yes,” with another 29 percent “not sure.”
The poll was conducted July 11 – 14, 2025, prior to his most recent outbursts. But thus far, it seems the louder Trump tries to quiet the story, the more interest he arouses.
