Stephen A. Smith Can’t Resist Inserting Himself in Trump-Musk Drama as He Chooses a Side

ESPN big mouth Stephen A. Smith couldn’t resist getting involved in the blistering back-and-forth between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, appearing to side with Musk in the duel of America’s two most influential billionaires.

Musk fired off numerous X posts Thursday, including one accusing Trump of being in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

But when the Tesla honcho posted a poll asking if it’s time to form “a new political party in America,” Smith couldn’t resist.

“I’m all for moving America to the CENTER,” Smith wrote in a reply. “I’m definitely down for that cause! Sign me up!!!”

Smith, the host of First Take on ESPN, has been dipping increasingly into the political sphere of late — including bold declarations that he could beat any Democrat the party put up against him.
