Trump Lashes Out at ‘STIFF’ UAW Leader — Biden Team Jumps to Attack ‘SCAB’ Trump

Former President Donald Trump attacked “STIFF” UAW chief Shawn Fain after a Sunday show interview, drawing a counterattack from President Joe Biden’s campaign on “SCAB Trump.”

Fain tore into Trump last week as he endorsed Biden and explained his union’s endorsement at length in an interview on Sunday’s edition of Face the Nation.

Trump took notice, posting a lengthy rant against Fain on his Truth Social account railing against Fain and Biden and efforts to transition to electric vehicles:

I had the great privilege of watching Shawn Fain, the President of the United Auto Workers, this morning on DeFace the Nation. He is a real “STIFF” who is selling the Automobile Industry right into the big, powerful, hands of China. 55% of the industry has already left the U.S., and the rest will soon be following if I am not elected President. He bought into Biden’s “vision” of all Electric Vehicles, which require far fewer workers to make each car but, more importantly, are not wanted in large numbers by the consumer, and will ALL be made in China. I want them to be made in the USA, every type of car, and would require China, and other countries, through TARIFFS, or otherwise, to build plants here, with our workers. Now they are building in Mexico, the biggest plants anywhere, and selling their cars, Tariff Free, into the good ol’ USA. Shawn Fain doesn’t understand this or have a clue. Get rid of this dope & vote for DJT. I will bring the Automobile Industry back to our Country.

The following is a statement from Biden-Harris 2024 Communications Director Michael Tyler in response to Donald Trump’s TruthSocial post earlier this evening attacking United Auto Workers (UAW) president Shawn Fain and pretending the massive tax cuts for corporations during his presidency didn’t lead to factories closing and American jobs being shipped overseas:

“So…apparently losing the UAW endorsement to Joe Biden has left Donald Trump’s wounded ego with quite the SCAB.”
