Trump Lawyer and Head of RNC’s ‘Election Integrity’ Unit Has Mugshot Taken in Election Fraud Case

Maricopa County
Christina Bobb, an attorney for Donald Trump and the head of the Republican National Committee’s “election integrity” unit, had her mugshot taken on Tuesday as part of her arraignment after being indicted for trying to overturn Arizona’s 2020 election results.
Bobb, who pleaded not guilty, was indicted on state charges in April. She was one of 18 defendants to be charged. Also indicted were former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. The ex-president, who sought to overturn the results in Arizona and other states he lost, is an unindicted co-conspirator in the case. Giuliani has pleaded not guilty. Meadows is expected to be arraigned next month. Nine “fake electors” have also pleaded not guilty after prosecutors say they falsely certified that Trump won the state in 2020.
In March, the RNC tapped Bobb to run the GOP’s “election integrity” unit, which will enlist scores of poll watchers, poll workers, and other personnel in swing states to monitor November’s election.
Trump faces criminal charges in Georgia and in federal court in Washington, D.C. thanks to his attempt to subvert the 2020 election results. The former president is also under indictment for what prosecutors say was his willful retention of classified documents after leaving office.
Bobb was questioned in the documents investigation by the Department of Justice. In June 2021, she signed a letter to the DOJ saying that to the best of her knowledge, no official documents remained at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. However, in August of that year, the FBI executed a search warrant and found boxes of material that the DOJ says was classified.
She has not been charged in that case.
In all, Trump is under indictment in four jurisdictions and has pleaded not guilty to a total of 88 criminal counts.
