Former President Donald Trump weighed in Sunday morning on the devastating attack Hamas launched against civilians in Israel on Saturday as only he would.

“THE HORRIBLE ATTACK ON ISRAEL, MUCH LIKE THE ATTACK ON UKRAINE, WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED IF I WERE PRESIDENT – ZERO CHANCE!” Trump posted to his Truth Social platform.

On Saturday during a rally in Iowa, Trump also discussed the attack, which as of Sunday midday had left over 600 dead and 100 kidnapped – mostly civilians.

“The Hamas terrorist invasion of Israeli territory and the murder of Israeli soldiers today and the brutal murder of citizens is an act of savagery that must and will be crushed,” Trump told the crowd before blaming Democrats for the attack.

“American taxpayer dollars helped fund these attacks,” Trump declared earlier Saturday in a statement while slamming President Joe Biden as “weak and ineffective.”

“They didn’t have that level of aggression with me. They didn’t have it. This would have never happened with me either,” Trump said. He also later in the day declared during a Cedar Rapids rally that Biden had “betrayed Israel” by releasing $6 billion in funds to Iran in exchange for American prisoners.

Biden’s prisoner exchange has drawn the fire of many Republicans as having fueled the Hamas attack, but that claim has also been rebutted – even by Fox News. Fox’s Jennifer Griffin offered a fact-check and noted that none of the money returned to Iran has been spent. Furthermore, intelligence operatives have noted that the Hamas attack was likely being planned for many months given its mass coordination.
