Trump Stays Up Ranting After Oscars Tantrum With Debunked Attack On Biden — Demands Criminal Cases End

Former President Donald Trump followed up his Oscar Awards tantrum with a late-night attack on President Joe Biden that coupled a debunked claim with a demand for all his criminal trials to disappear.

Trump lashed out in real-time during the 96th Academy Awards — The Oscars! — telecast to attack host Jimmy Kimmel in a characteristically Trumpian post on his Truth Social platform that Kimmel then read on the air live during the telecast.

But the Oscars weren’t the only thing on his mind. Trump went on to rant about the sprawling Georiga election crimes case that has been thrown into turmoil — and to repeat an oft-debunked claim that Biden is directing all of the legal action against Trump:

How can Fani Willis possibly oversee a case which is completely compromised and fraudulently brought by her and her highly paid lover? She NEVER paid cash as a reimbursement to him. If she did, where did she get the cash, an even bigger problem? She lied in order to get out of a problem. Very easy to prove! Everything should be immediately dropped and let the American Patriots “go home.” Absolve them all from this terrible, and totally disproven, Witch Hunt! ELECTION INTERFERENCE in conjunction with the Crooked Joe Biden DOJ and White House!

The Georgia case is imperiled by a challenge brought by one of Trump’s 18 co-defendants that seeks to have Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis removed for an alleged conflict of interest.

A key point in the case against disqualifying Willis is that she did not financially benefit from her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade because she repaid him with cash for shared expenses. Prosecutors have presented evidence supporting this element.

Trump wrote of Kimmel:

Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars. His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be. Get rid of Kimmel and perhaps replace him with another washed up, but cheap, ABC “talent,” George Slopanopoulos. He would make everybody on stage look bigger, stronger, and more glamorous. Also a really bad politically correct show tonight, and for years – Disjointed, boring, and very unfair. Why don’t they just give the Oscars to those that deserve them. Maybe that way their audience and TV ratings will come back from the depths. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
