‘Unhinged and Unacceptable!’ JD Vance, Karoline Leavitt Torch ABC’s Terry Moran Over Deleted Post Calling Stephen Miller ‘A World Class Hater’

Vice President JD Vance and press secretary Karoline Leavitt are lashing out at ABC’s Terry Moran over a deleted X post in which he labeled White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller a “world class hater.”
Vance, in a screenshot posted Sunday morning on X, shared Moran’s original comments about Miller.
“The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism,” Moran wrote. “Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller. It’s not brains. It’s bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate. Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred only a means to an end, and that end his his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.”
The vice president branded Moran’s remarks as an “absolutely vile smear,” and claimed it should taint ABC’s coverage.
“An ABC journalist @TerryMoran posted this absolutely vile smear of Stephen Miller,” Vance wrote. “It’s dripping with hatred. Remember that every time you watch ABC’s coverage of the Trump administration.”
Vance added, “ABC should apologize to Stephen. What Terry posted is disgraceful.”
Leavitt, in her post, made clear that the White House is seeking repercussions.
“This is unhinged and unacceptable,” Leavitt said of Moran’s comments. “We have reached out to @ABC to inquire about how they plan to hold Terry accountable.”
The White House’s attack on Moran over his blistering criticism of Miller comes just weeks after Moran’s heated interview with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Trump accused Moran of “not being very nice” after Moran called out the president for using a doctored photo showing deporting migrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia as having MS-13 tattooed on his knuckles.
