WATCH: Lauren Boebert Gets Roasted By House GOP Colleague for ‘Inappropriate Touching’

A Republican Congresswoman absolutely took it to her House GOP colleague Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) in a scathing standup comedy routine.

During her monologue at the Washington Press Club Foundation dinner on Wednesday, Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI) went right after what is a clear sore spot for the Colorado Republican.

“If everyone could please keep their hands above the table,” McClain said. “And I know it’s date night for some of you, but no inappropriate touching. That includes you Lauren Boebert. No vaping either.”

The stinging barb, of course, was a reference to an incident caught on tape at a Colorado theater back in September in which she and a date groped each other in plain view. Boebert was widely mocked and condemned over the episode.

Boebert recently announced she is switching districts in the 2024 election — opting to run in the much more conservative-friendly 4th district rather than the 3rd district she has represented for the past few years. In 2022, she survived a very close race against Democratic challenger Adam Frisch.

However, a straw poll taken following a debate earlier this week put Boebert in fifth place among Republicans seeking the seat — suggesting that Boebert has her hands full once again.
