‘What a Low Bar!’ Fox & Friends Mocks Kamala Harris Telling 60 Minutes ‘Joe Biden is Very Much Alive’

Fox & Friends was far from impressed with Vice President Kamala Harris and CBS’ Bill Whitaker while reviewing the conversation the two had together for 60 Minutes.

The interview consisted of Harris taking questions on the Biden administration’s polling concerns, Harris’ handling of immigration, and the U.S. response to the wars in Israel and Ukraine. Fox’s Brian Kilmeade felt Whitaker could’ve done much more to scrutinize Harris, denouncing the segment as “one of the softest interviews you will ever see 60 Minutes do.”

As the panel reviewed the substance of Harris’ comments, they focused on the part of the interview where Whitaker told the VP that he spoke to Democratic donors who “would not naturally fall into line” behind her if something happened to President Joe Biden and she had to run in his place. Asked why that is, Harris answered, “I’m not going to engage in that hypothetical because Joe Biden is very much alive and running for re-election.”

“What a low bar,” Lawrence Jones commented. His colleagues laughed along while Kilmeade followed up by saying, “He’s living! I took his pulse this morning.”

The show continued to dive into the polling negatives for Harris and Biden that have put them in competition with Donald Trump, even with all of the former president’s baggage.
