Bill O’Reilly Hands Out Mediocre Grades to Trump on Deportations, Israel, and More in 6-Month ‘Report Card’
Bill O’Reilly handed out a mixed “report card” to President Donald Trump after the first six months of his second term.
On O’Reilly’s No Spin News, the former Fox News host ran down his “report card” for Trump on a number of issues. While O’Reilly handed Trump an A grade on securing the border, battling DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) and “woke” policies, Iran, and on his “engagement of problems,” he also offered some less-than-stellar grades.
O’Reilly slapped Trump with a B grade on the economy and downsizing government, and hit him with average to terrible grades on the Russia-Ukraine war, his handling of Israel and Gaza, and the administration’s deportation efforts.
On Ukraine, O’Reilly gave Trump a D grade, saying he put too much faith in his influence with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“It’s not Trump’s fault, but he did overestimate his relationship with Vladimir Putin. Putin’s a villain, and that thing is worse now than it was on inauguration day, so we can’t be giving the higher marks,” O’Reilly said, adding the president could get more “aggressive” with sanctions on Russia.
After praising Trump’s strikes against Iran’s nuclear sites, O’Reilly gave him a C grade on his handling of the Israel-Hamas war.
“Again, not America’s fault, but neither Israel nor Hamas wants to stop this. They don’t want to stop it. Israel wants to wipe out every Hamas person. In order to do that, they’re gonna have to kill civilians, which they continue to do,” O’Reilly said about Israel, adding the C grade stands for “chaos.”
He also hit the president over deportation efforts, giving him a C+ grade, but arguing the administration could get a bump up to a B+ if they were clearer in their messaging.
O’Reilly argued:
The problem is here that the federal government has not explained its policy, the Trump administration has not explained its policies on nonviolent, non-criminal migrants. It’s got to be explained, “this is what we’re going to do.” Now, I’ve offered them very, very good solutions. They have not picked them up. We’ve had Homan, Tom Homan on the program. Look, you’ve got to have some kind of review process because innocent people can get swept up here. But that has not happened. So the deportation is C+. And I think that it could get to B+ if the Trump administration started to define it in a more clear way, clearer way.
