Scott Adams Details Trump Call After Revealing He’s Dying From ‘Same Cancer Biden Has’

Dilbert creator Scott Adams revealed President Donald Trump reached out to him personally to offer support following Adams announcing his cancer diagnosis.

Adams, a longtime cartoonist and author, revealed on his Real Coffee with Scott Adams show this week that he has prostate cancer that has spread to his bones and he likely has months to live.

“I’ve decided today’s the day I’m going to take the opportunity — since a lot of you are here — to make an announcement of my own. Some of you have already guessed, so it won’t surprise you at all, but I have the same cancer Joe Biden has. So I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones. I’ve had it longer than he’s had — well longer than he’s admitted having it,” Adams said.

In a new video, Adams revealed Trump called him personally twice, the first time being sent to voicemail.

Adams shared:

Somebody’s calling me from some number I don’t recognize, something in Florida and I sent it to voicemail. And a little bit later I thought, I better check that voicemails and see if that was anything I need to deal with. And the first sentence in the transcription, cause you know the phone gives you the text version of the voicemal as well. The first sentence is, this is your favorite president. And I thought to myself, no, did I just send the most important person in the world to voicemail?

Adams wrote a book in 2017 titled Win Bigly, in which he praised Trump as a “master persuader” in politics.

On his show, Adams said Trump left a lengthy voicemail and offered a number to call him back, but Adams did not, thinking calling the leader of the free world back was a little “ridiculous.”

“Same day, it’s the afternoon, and all of a sudden another call comes through, also from Florida, and I thought to myself, no fucking way, there’s no way he’s calling me again, and I answer it, and it’s Trump,” he said.

Adams revealed the president asked him questions about his diagnosis and offered any support he needs.

“At the end, the strangest thing happened at the at the end of the call, you know, when he found out, you know, the situation was kind of dire, and I was still checking out some things that might help, he said, ‘if you need anything, I’ll make it happen,'” he said. “And he meant it. He was completely aware of our, let’s say, parallel journeys from 2015, he mentioned it, and it was just the most incredible, weird, hard to understand situation, but boy, was it fun.”
