Theo Von Informs JD Vance In Real-Time Musk Is Accusing Trump of Being in ‘Epstein Files’: ‘F**king Sh*t Missile Is In the Cannon’
Vice President JD Vance was informed in real time by comedian Theo Von about Elon Musk accusing President Donald Trump of being in the “Epstein files.”
Vance joined Von on his This Past Weekend podcast this week and he found himself reading the war of words between the president and Musk at the same time many others were. The rift between Trump and Musk kicked off on Thursday after Trump said he was “disappointed” in Musk’s critiques of his “Big Beautiful Bill,” which Musk has called an “abomination” that will add to the deficit. Things quickly became bitter between the two with Trump saying Musk “lost his mind” while Musk accused Trump of being in the “Epstein files.”
During his interview with Von, Vance reacted in real time to Musk claiming Trump was suppressing the “Epstein files,” which would contain the names of associates who traveled to a private island where the late Jeffrey Epstein was accused of trafficking and assaulting numerous women and underage girls over the years.
“Elon just hit the airwaves today,” Von told Vance.
“Oh man,” Vance said.
“The fucking shit missile is in the cannon,” Von warned him.
He then read Musk’s tweet accusing Trump of being in the “Epstein files.”
“This is one I haven’t even seen,” Vance said. “I haven’t even seen this one.”
The vice president called the Epstein accusation “totally BS” and said he’ll always be “loyal” to the president.
“Jeez. Man. Well…so just so your audience is aware, when is this going to air? Like, tomorrow or two days from now?” Vance asked.
“It’s airing in 45 minutes. It’s airing now, dude. No, I’m joking,” Von said.
“I’m just saying, like, presumably when this comes out, people are gonna know more about this than even I do because this kind of happened on the plane when I was coming on down here,” Vance said.
The vice president warned Musk that his “blood feud” with the president is only bad for him and the country.
FBI Director Kash Patel was caught in a similar situation this week while recording Joe Rogan’s podcast. During a discussion about Epstein, Rogan’s producer dropped Musk’s tweet against Trump in real time.
“What the fuck are they doing?” a shocked Rogan asked as Patel made clear multiple times that any feud between Musk and Trump is not his “lane.”
