Is This the Worst Selfie Ever?
What’s even worse that “funeral selfies”? How about obliviously taking a photo of yourself while someone attempts to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge in the background. One woman apparently did just that and ended up on the front page of the New York Post along with the headline “SELFIE-ISH!”

According to the Post, the woman, who smartly declined to give her name to the paper’s photographer, was among a horde of people watching the dramatic rescue of a man who was teetering on the edge of the bridge at 10 o’clock in the morning. At one point, she decided to turn her back on the scene and capture a photo of herself.
The man was ultimately rescued by police officers and brought down to safety. And yet people still question why Oxford Dictionaries named “selfie” the word of the year…
