Charlamagne tha God questioned whether President Joe Biden has already “quietly quit” his position during an interview with Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).

At the tail end of a Thursday phone interview with Crockett by phone on The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne asked whether Biden was already done with the White House just a few weeks before President-elect Donald Trump is inaugurated. Crockett had been blasting Trump and his close relationship with Elon Musk and she called for judicial reform from Biden on the heels of him commuting more than 1,000 sentences and pardoning dozens.

“My last question, do you think Biden has quietly quit?” Charlamagne asked.

“No, absolutely not,” Crockett said.

“We’ll see. If he don’t do nothing over the next 30 days, I’m going to say he quit,” Charlamagne replied.

Charlamagne has been critical of the Democratic Party, but he’s not the first to question Biden’s exact role in his final weeks in office. The hosts of Pod Save America (all former aides to former President Barack Obama) accused Biden earlier this week of fading from the public stage and making it appear as if Trump is already the commander in chief.

“Joe Biden believes in tradition and institutions and we should only have one president at a time, and I think it’s a surprising choice to allow it to be Donald Trump,” Jon Lovett joked during the podcast.

Jon Favreau similarly roasted the president, saying a recent press conference at Mar-a-Lago by Trump about investments in AI, as well as other public appearances, make it difficult to remember Biden is still in office.

“It was more or less a standard presidential policy announcement, the main difference being: Trump isn’t president yet! A fact that’s getting easier and easier to forget as Joe Biden seems to be disappearing from the public stage as his term comes to an end,” he said.
