Arnold Schwarzenegger Stuns ManningCast When He Decides to Start Feeding His Pet Donkey Live on Air
Arnold Schwarzenegger on Monday lived up to his eccentric reputation when he called into ManningCast feeding a donkey in his home.
A few minutes into the first quarter of the Monday Night Football game between the New York Jets and Los Angeles Chargers, Peyton and Eli Manning were getting ready to welcome the legendary actor to their alternate broadcast. Before the broadcast went to a commercial break, Schwarzenegger appeared on screen as a tease to viewers. While most guests often sit there and smile and maybe even wave to the camera, Schwarzenegger was preoccupied with his animal friend.
The sight of the donkey left both brothers puzzled.
“Oh, what is — what is that?” Eli said. “That donkey looks like you eating, Peyton! It’s the same thing.
“Alright, we’re going to break. We’ll be back.”
As Eli spoke, Peyton simply stood there with his mouth agape. Schwarzenegger didn’t even acknowledge the surprised reactions of his co-hosts and continued feeding the donkey with a smile on his face.
Considering the life the 76-year-old has lived, Schwarzenegger having a donkey probably shouldn’t come as a surprise. After a massively successful career as a professional bodybuilder — followed by a massively successful career as an actor and even a stint as the governor of California — it’d be a surprise to hear about something he hasn’t done.
