Bucks Guard Patrick Beverley Slammed for Ignoring Veteran ESPN Reporter Because She Isn’t Subscribed to His Podcast

Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley caught heat online from countless members of the media for his treatment of a veteran ESPN reporter.
After the Bucks were eliminated from the NBA playoffs with their 120-98 loss to the Indiana Pacers, Beverley addressed the media in the locker room. Before questioning even began, Beverley turned to ESPN reporter and producer Malinda Adams and asked if she was subscribed to his podcast. When she admitted that she wasn’t, Beverley claimed she wasn’t allowed to interview him.
As someone else asked him a question, Beverley turned to Adams again and pushed her microphone away.

Not long after the clip was posted, reporters from all across the industry called him out for the “disgusting” act.
Disgusting display of unprofessionalism but those who have covered the NBA/teams Pat Bev has been on (there have been many) know these antics are unfortunately normal for him. Plenty of time to podcast now that your season is over, guy.
Stop disrespecting people who are there… https://t.co/Vf09r4ysKW

Veteran producer Malinda Adams happens to be one of the most respected and professional people we have at ESPN. Bev, you’re going to have to make a couple apologies for stuff tonight. https://t.co/KdQ0VuGoyg

One thing we DO NOT tolerate is clown behavior … especially when directed at one of the best producers sports journalism — and ESPN — has ever seen. Gtfoh.
Shouldn’t have been pulling that weak shit with local media either. https://t.co/4ADBdVsKwe

We may have seen Pat Bev in an NBA locker room for the last time. I’m not even being hyperbolic. This is a terrible look. https://t.co/MWiazpm4DR

First the disrespect to Michele Roberts in the NBA Bubble in front of other NBA players and now this… He is who he is. Respect to stellar veteran producer Malinda Adams for her professionalism through that silliness. https://t.co/MLkHm2wfTQ
