ESPN’s Rex Ryan Reminds Everyone of His Infamous Foot Fetish While Talking About Controversial Chiefs Play: ‘That’s a Toe I DON’T Like’

Former NFL coach Rex Ryan somehow used a discussion about the Kansas City Chiefs to remind a national audience he’s a proud foot fetishist.

The Chiefs’ Sunday matchup against the Buffalo Bills ended in controversy when an offensive offsides penalty took away a go-ahead touchdown. Chiefs receiver Kadarius Toney — who scored the touchdown thanks to an improvised lateral pass from tight end Travis Kelce — was the offender.

Subsequent replays showed Toney lined up well over the line of scrimmage. The team eventually lost when it failed to get within field goal range to at least tie the game.

On Monday’s episode of Get Up, Ryan found an interesting way to express his disappointment with the penalty.

“This is a toe I don’t like,” Ryan said as analyst Ryan Clark laughed on the other side of the desk. “You know I like toes. I don’t like this toe. Come on, line up on-freaking-side, for crying out loud!”

Host Mike Greenberg acknowledged the awkwardness of the conversation while Clark continued laughing uncontrollably.

“There is no way for us to do a serious show if you’re gonna go there, Rex,” Greenberg said. “This is not the moment for it.”

Clark then had a message for Toney to illustrate how severe his late-game penalty was.

“Kadarius Toney, if you turn Rex against feet,” he said, “you’re a bad man.”

Throughout his career, Ryan has been surprisingly open about his fetish. When he became head coach of the Buffalo Bills, he even brought a framed photo of his wife’s feet to put on his desk.
