Laura Ingraham Presses Enes Kanter Freedom: ‘Are You Identifying as a Woman Tonight?’

WNBA agitator Enes Kanter Freedom insisted, “I identify as a woman, sure,” during an interview Monday with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham — while bragging he would try to break NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain’s single-game point record if he’s allowed to play in the women’s league.

The confident boast from Kanter Freedom, 34, came a day after he was tossed from a game between the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever after getting into a heated confrontation with  WNBA player Natasha Cloud in the middle of the contest.

Appearing on The Ingraham Angle, Kanter Freedom was pressed about gender:

LAURA INGRAHAM: Sources were telling various media outlets today that they’ve essentially decided you and Royce cannot play in the WNBA. You will not be eligible. And they’re going to say something about, it’s a publicity stunt. You’re not really a trans woman. Are you a trans woman?

FREEDOM: Well I want to make something clear —

INGRAHAM: Are you a trans woman?

FREEDOM: Listen, Section 13, Article 13 Section 1 says if you identify as a woman, then you are allowed to play.

INGRAHAM: So you are identifying as a woman tonight?

FREEDOM: I identify as a woman sure, yes so I can play.

INGRAHAM: But they’re never going to let you play.

FREEDOM: Why not? I mean that’s the rules that they put out I’m just following the rules. If they ever come out and say OK, we’re changing the rules I respect your decision, I will you know, follow the rules. But right now if you identify as a woman, you are allowed to play. I’m identifying as a woman and I am actually allowed to play.

Kanter Freedom then went on to boast that if he is permitted to play, he planned on breaking NBA great Chamberlain’s record in his first WNBA game — assuming he’s allowed to take part.

“I’m going to try beat Wilt Chamberlain’s record I’m going to go something like over 100 points for sure,” he said.

The Turkish-American, who played 11 seasons in the NBA but never won a championship, began trolling the all-female pro league earlier this month when he claimed he would declare himself a woman in a bid to join the league.
