Alan Dershowitz Uses Israeli Embassy Staff Killings to Hawk Book: ‘I Actually Predicted Them – I Have a New Book…’

Former Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz used the killing of two Israeli embassy staff members in Washington, D.C. to hawk his new book on Fox News, Tuesday.

During a segment on President Donald Trump’s move to strip Harvard University of federal funding due to supposed “anti-Semitism,” Dershowitz said, “Well, let me tell you about anti-Semitism. The two killings in Washington, D.C., I actually predicted them. I have a new book out called ‘The Preventive State.'”

Dershowitz then proceeded to lift up a copy of his book to the camera.

“In my new book, I predicted that what was going on in Harvard, these violent demonstrations, would lead to shootings,” he continued. “How did I predict it? Based on having represented in the past people who have been protesting violently during the Vietnam War. And what became of them? One of them became a murderer, Kathy Boudin, the Weathermen, and so I predicted that this was going to happen. Harvard not only tolerates anti-Semitism, but two of its schools, the Divinity School and the Public Health School, actually teach anti-Semitism and encourage anti-Semitism.”

Dershowitz concluded, “So targeted defunding is a very good idea and a good way of responding to this horrible anti-Semitism that’s spreading all over the country, but Harvard is the most important institution in the country, and so start there and teach them that they cannot use federal funds to promote anti-Semitism.”

Chicago man Elias Rodriguez was arrested last week following a shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., which left two Israeli embassy staff members dead.

According to Washington, D.C. police, Rodriguez chanted “free, free Palestine” while in custody and “implied that he committed the offense.”
