American Idol So Irrelevant That People Think Robert Durst and Joe Biden Were Contestants

Earlier this week, Fox announced that the next season of American Idol would be its last, and as Jimmy Kimmel noted, it’s mostly because no one watches it anymore.

But the people he interviewed for his famous segment “Lie Witness News” sure did watch it! They were astounded when, for instance, Robert Durst went to the bathroom during his audition, and when former NFL player Joe Biden made it to the finale.

But yeah, don’t worry about it, America:, even we honestly don’t know who won. Probably some bland, unoffensive white guy with a guitar.

(Oh wait, it was a white guy with a guitar?! What are the odds.)
