Anderson Cooper: I’m ‘No Expert’ on Vaginas

CNN’s Anderson Cooper had one of his classic giggle fits during last night’s “Ridiculist” segment, and this time it had everything to do with vaginas.

Cooper’s discomfort was apparent from the moment he started talking about the student who had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a giant statue of a vagina in Germany. “That’s right, I said that word,” Cooper said, after struggling to get the syllables out.

“Before you start blowing up my Twitter feed, know that I am not making fun of women or female anatomy in any way,” Cooper said. “I am making fun of a guy who got stuck in a sculpture.”

“Look, I am certainly no expert on the topic of… ” Cooper said, beginning to giggle. “…Vaginas, artistic or otherwise. They really aren’t my wheelhouse, so to speak.”

It was almost as if Cooper was reading the words on his teleprompter for the first time, as he broke down saying he does know enough about vaginas to know you’re not supposed to “go in feet first.”
