Andy McCarthy Predicts Hunter Biden Could Force Joe Biden Out of 2024 Presidential Race

Fox News contributor and legal commentator Andy McCarthy suggested that the investigation into the Biden family may result in President Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 presidential race during an appearance on America’s Newsroom Monday.

After playing a clip in which MSNBC personality and former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki noted that Hunter Biden’s public statements have not been “helpful” to the president, host Dana Perino asked McCarthy if Hunter’s legal strategy could be on a collision course with his father’s political strategy.

“Yeah, I think they’ve already collided,” asserted McCarthy. “I mean, the time to worry about what Jen Psaki is talking about was before Hunter got indicted, when they were trying to make that whole case go away. But now obviously, he’s indicted in not one, but two cases. So, you know, he’s going to be out there publicly, as is his lawyer, speaking. And that’s going to be excruciating for the president.”

He continued:

And the thing I think about the Washington Post report that David was speaking about is — I’d be very concerned about that. You know, there’s a, there’s kind of a confluence of events that we’ve seen. You know, David Axelrod says maybe Biden shouldn’t run. There’s a Wall Street Journal report this weekend where, you know, it seems like Obama is saying the same thing. Now, two indictments.

And now this report, what astonished me about it is not just the details. This is a 4000 word report, which means that they spent weeks on it. They could have dropped it at any time. And it dredges up stuff that’s been kind of vaguely known for years, and that Joe Biden must have thought that he had, you know, survived that long ago. And here it is again, right at a time when a lot of top Democrats are saying, you know, it may be time for him to get out.
