Bernie Sanders Admits He Got ‘Decimated’ in South Carolina

Bernie Sanders admitted on ABC’s This Week earlier today that he got “decimated” in South Carolina last night.

Clinton was expected to win South Carolina due to her consistent lead in the polls and support among the African-American community. Sanders had talked a lot about minority issues ahead of the primary, but Clinton crushed him with the black vote.

He did point out to George Stephanopoulos that considering how far behind Clinton they were months ago, this is still pretty good for him.

Sanders acknowledged he’ll have to do better with black voters in other states, but expressed that he’ll be able to win over more African-Americans in states outside the Deep South.
