Brian Stelter Slams GOP Spox Kayleigh McEnany for Already Undermining 2020 Results: ‘Shameful’
CNN’s Brian Stelter slammed Kayleigh McEnany on Monday night for her “shameful” insinuation that the 2020 election will be illegitimate if Donald Trump losses the presidency.
Stelter was on CNN Tonight for a panel discussion on the new House Judiciary Committee investigation into Trump and his administration. McEnany, a former CNN contributor who now works as a press secretary for Trump’s re-election campaign, has reacted to the probe by calling it an “abuse of power” and saying Democrats have “zero chance at winning legitimately” in a contest against Trump.

Margaret Hoover reacted to that statement with concern, saying it “weakens our institutions” and is “sowing the seeds of fundamental distrust in our electoral process.”
“Kayleigh’s got to apologize for that,” Stelter agreed. “It’s shameful to talk that way.”
