Cheney: Bush ‘Knew’ about Torture and ‘He Approved It’
Another fallout from the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on the CIA’s terror funplex enhanced interrogation techniques released this week was that then-President George W Bush was kept in the dark about the CIA’s program until 2006. That, his Vice President alleged Sunday morning on Meet the Press, is bollocks.

“This man knew what we were doing,” Cheney said. “He authorized it. He approved it. A statement by the Senate Democrats, for partisan purposes, that the president didn’t know what was going on is just a flat-out lie…The president writes about it in his own book!”
