Chris Brown Burns Up SNL’s Stage Performing New Single “Yeah x3″

Chris Brown performed his new single, “Yeah x3” (somewhere, Usher is so so so mad) on “SNL” tonight. The song is a dance track in the same vein as Brown’s other songs — sample lyrics include “You like to drink? So do we!” Brown was very obviously lip-synching, but his moves were so impressive it hardly mattered.

As much as Brown still suffers from image problems, and deservedly so, the performance was a reminder that the dude is seriously talented. And we have to appreciate his unapologetic commitment to dancing over pretending to sing live!
